Apply for Developer Account
If you do not have a developer account, please visit AIOT open platform and registere developer account. Developer are divided into enterprise developer and individual developer. Individual developers is mainly for geeks whose purpose is no profit. When you register your account, please fill in the required information carefully, so you can improve the success rate of audit. Please wait patiently after submitting your account apply, we will audit as soon as possible.
Create New Application
After approving of account, the developer can create an application that needs to provide some information, such as:
- Application Name
- Career type
- Introduction
After the application is created successfully, "appId" and "appKey" are automatically assigned as the identity and authorization of the application. Then, the application will be able to use AIOT open API that are based on the HTTPS protocol.
Apply for Resources
The resources means the reported data from device, such as the satus of switch (on/off). Therefore, each smart device has a variety of resources. If the third-party application need to read the status of device or remote control the device, please apply for resources firstly in the website. All resources are described in detail later in the section "resource define". You can also view the resouce list in web page "Resource Privilege" as shown in the following figure. Apply for resources batchly is more convenient by clicking the "batchly apply" button in the upper right corner. After processing your application, we will inform you by SMS or e-mail.
Apply for API
Before calling the API, you need to apply for API. Apply for resources batchly is more convenient by clicking the "batchly apply" button in the upper right corner.
Config Message Push
AIOT cloud supports push the message of device to the third-party application server, that requires you to complete the configuration of the message receiving server first. After the authentication of server passed and the message is opened, AIOT cloud starts to push the message immediately.
